Description

Looking for a new recipe for holiday entertaining? You have to try this smoked salmon and chives cream cheese spread. It is an easy smoked salmon dip that will take your appetizer game to a whole new level. It is full of smoky flavor and fresh herbs and is ready in 10 minutes! The real challenge is stopping at just one bite!

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese
  • 3/4 cup Smoked Salmon
  • 1 tsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Chives
  • 1/8 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/8 tsp Dill
  • 1/8 tsp Pepper
  • Lemon Juice from 1/4 of a Lemon

Instructions

  1. Using a fork, flake the smoked salmon into chunks.
  2. Add salmon to a medium mixing bowl and mix with the block of cream cheese with an electric hand mixer on medium speed.
  3. Add additional ingredients and mix again.
  4. Serve in a small bowl or follow my instructions above on making a cheese ball.
  5. Top with a handful of flaked salmon.
  6. Dip with crackers, veggies, tortilla chips, or pita chips.

Notes

  • This dip will be thick and have the consistency more like a spread than a traditional dip.
  • I did not salt this because smoked salmon tends to be on the salty side. If you choose not to use smoked salmon you will probably need to add salt.
