Description

Looking for a fast and easy healthy meal for the family that won’t leave you hungry? This easy cheesy scrambled eggs recipe is my favorite way to make breakfast and hits the spot every time! They are soft and creamy eggs full of flavor and are ready in five minutes! It doesn’t matter if you make them for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, you will want to make this cheddar scrambled egg recipe over and over again!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 1/2 tbsp Milk
  • 1/2 tsp Woodfired Garlic Seasoning
  • 1/2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Cheddar Cheese shredded and divided
  • 1 tbsp butter or margarine
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Chives or Green Onions for garnish
  • Red Pepper Flakes for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat a small nonstick skillet over medium heat on the stove top. I use my smallest one which is an 8 inch pan.
  2. Crack two eggs into a small bowl being careful not to get any shells in the bowl.
  3. Add milk, seasonings, Worcestershire sauce, and one tablespoon of cheese to the bowl and lightly whisk with the eggs.
  4. Melt one tablespoon of butter or margarine in the skillet and coat the pan with it.
  5. Pour the whisked eggs mixture into the center of the pan and reduce to medium low heat. Allow the eggs to spread out to the edge of the pan.
  6. Allow the eggs to cook for a few seconds before you move them around the pan with a silicone spatula. You will want to sir them every 30 seconds or so to break up the single layer into fluffy curds of egg.
  7. Cook for 3-5 minutes without increasing the heat. If the heat is too high the eggs will become rubbery. For a wetter egg or a soft scramble, cook for closer to 3 minutes.
  8. Top the eggs with cheese while they are still in the pan right before they are done cooking so the cheese melts.
