Description

Looking for a hearty breakfast with amazing flavor? You have to try my delicious breakfast flatbread pizza! This easy recipe uses pre-made dough with a salsa base and all your breakfast favorites like crispy bacon, scrambled eggs, cheese, and avocado. The best part is, it doesn’t require a lot of time to make and is a great alternative to homemade pizza crust. Take your breakfast routine to the next level with this tasty recipe that combines a simple sheet pan pizza with the best meal of the day. Trust me, the whole family will love it.

Ingredients

Units Scale
  • 1 can Crescent Roll Sheet Dough
  • 4 Pieces Cooked Bacon
  • 4 Eggs Scrambled
  • 1/4 cup Salsa
  • 1/8 cup White Onion diced
  • 1 Jalapeno diced with seeds removed
  • 1 Avocado sliced
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Cilantro chopped

Instructions

  1. In a pre-heated oven at 425°F, cook bacon on a foiled pan for 15-20 minutes or until desired crispiness.
  2. While the bacon cooks, heat a small non-stick frying pan over medium heat on the stove top and scramble eggs.
  3. When bacon is done cooking, remove from the oven and turn the temperature down to 350°F. Once the bacon is cool, break it up into smaller pieces.
  4. Spray a baking sheet with non-stick cooking spray.
  5. Unroll crescent roll dough onto cookie sheet and bake for 5 minutes or until dough is slightly cooked. You are only partially cooking the dough here. It will get cooked more later.
  6. While the dough cooks in the oven, chop the onion, jalapeno, cilantro, and slice avocado, and set aside.
  7. When the dough is partially cooked, top with salsa, scrambled eggs, onion, bacon, avocado, cheese, and cilantro.
  8. Place flatbread back in the oven and cook at 350°F for an additional 6-8 minutes or until crust is golden brown and cheese is melty.

Notes

Note: If you cook your bacon in the oven like I did you will need to lower the temperature down to 350 before you cook the flatbread.
